The CX SIG reviews most any product. We have conducted Expert Reviews for commercial Web sites, e-commerce sites, business-to-business sites, Web-based applications, desktop applications, mobile devices, and more.
You can browse the Internet to your current site, application, or product, or bring in a prototype.
On the first Tuesday of the month, we will contact you to remind you of the meeting and to develop the e-mail announcement. The announcement is due on the second Tuesday of the month and is sent on the third Tuesday.
Meeting Format and Agenda
As the presenter, you should arrive at 5:30 pm to prepare for your presentation (connect your laptop to the projector, ensure good Internet connection, etc.) and to review the agenda with the Facilitator. The crowd typically starts showing up around 6:00 pm.
The Facilitator introduces you, and then you give a brief overview of your company and the product you are presenting. The reviewers may ask general questions about your company and the product.
The Facilitator leads a discussion around your business objectives, your target customer characteristics, your customers’ goals, and the tasks needed to reach these goals. Once there is a good understanding of these, then we begin to look at the user experience.
The reviewers ask questions about the current design and offer suggestions for it to better meet your customers’ goals and your business objectives.
After the product is reviewed to your satisfaction, we summarize the design ‘take-aways.’ We usually finish around 7:30 pm but will go as late as necessary for you to get what you need.
Meeting Date, Time, and Place
The CX SIG meets at on the fourth Tuesday of each month (except November and December) at Intuit Inc., 7545 Torrey Santa Fe Road, San Diego, CA 92129. Check in at the Security Desk in the lobby when you arrive.
